We are currently looking for qualified Diesel Motor Mechanic to join our team in the Horsham yard on a full time basis.

Description:

  • Facilitate current maintenance program

  • Liase with freight managers and drivers regarding timing of servicing/repairs

  • Perform trouble shooting and diagnostics on vehicles and equipment

  • Organising mechanic contractors to perform breakdown repairs and C services

  • Perform A & B servicing, small repairs and adjustments when required

  • Completing service reports

  • Maintain stock and tidiness of the parts room

​Requirements:

  • Computer literacy

  • Australian Trade Certificate

  • 10+ years as a heavy diesel mechanic (preferred but not essential)

  • Experience with Kenworth, Hendrickson and SAF Holland is an advantage

  • Full understanding of vehicle standards, NHVAS Regulations and the maintenance management component

  • Able to effectively diagnose and find faults in the mechanical assessment of all aspects of the HV truck fleet and trailers as well as our yard equipment.

  • Self-motivated and ability to work autonomously

  • A positive and proactive approach

  • Current Drivers Licence
